SECOND LIFE TEXTILE
Your partner in textile collection
Second Life Textile gives textile a second chance at life. As second-hand clothing on a new market or as new textiles in a different form: the cleaning cloths in the car garage, as mattress filling or as yarn from which new clothing is made. Contributing to a more sustainable world, in all possible areas: that is what we do.

Textile professionals
For years we have been doing nothing other than placing textile containers and collecting textiles. We drive throughout the Netherlands with our Euro 6 Sprinter buses to empty our bins. For example, we collect twenty-five tons of textiles every week with three hundred bins – a lot of clothes.
We transport this material as freight to certified sorting companies both at home and abroad – only companies that work transparently. We visit them every year so that we remain well informed of what happens to the material we supply. This way we can continue to communicate openly about the full cycle of our textile collection.

Heart for sustainable work
We wouldn't be doing this work if our hearts weren't in the right place. It feels good to contribute to a more environmentally conscious world. Good material is reused through textile collection. We prevent unnecessary emissions, water and energy consumption and waste incineration. Some of the used clothing is transformed into new yarn, completing the circle.
A circular economy is the future; we are working on this in all areas. Our drivers come from the social return: we give people who are at a distance from the labor market a second chance to participate in society. We do this with love, because the enthusiasm we get in return is fantastic!

Just well organised
What we do is not new. Ttextile collection has been around for years. Recently, however, more and more attention has been paid to this. Of course we move with the times, but the core of our work remains the same: we collect clothing and give them a second chance. We arrange everything we do well. That is our promise.
